Project Objective: Create 4 cohesive pattern designs in Illustrator.
When designing these patterns I drew inspiration from toys I used to play with, specifically Polly Pocket. I picked motifs and a color palette associated with it. I made two simple repeating patterns and two that were slightly more complex. I preferred using a repeating grid layout, the designs ended up looking cleaner and usable for more surface applications.
