Project Objective: Create multiple environments for Digital Coloring. First project, design a Bedroom for an original character. Second project, utilizing 2-point perspective design an environment. Third project, create a 25 min warmup composition. Use a limited color palette and illustrate depth with foreground, middleground, and background.
For my first project I designed a bedroom for a fashionable Alien. I put her in the environment getting ready for the day with clothes everywhere, for a storytelling element. I based some parts of her room around my personal likes and aesthetic. The colors I chose are bright and there is minimal shading throughout the piece.

For the second project I chose to make a small room. I wanted to keep the style loose as I worked to get the perspective right. Then I gave myself a small challenge with drawing the mirror reflection. I picked simple, pastel colors, and minimal shading again.

For the third project I decided to do an outdoor environment. Didn't get heavy with details due to the time limit. Focused on laying out the major parts of the composition. Adding the character wasn't required, but I felt it helped tell a story and provide more visual depth. Used 5 colors with some lighting variation to further push depth.
